My second day at Blinn was last Thursday. It started with a bang when I made the split decision to drop Calculus. I did this because...well... it sucked, the teacher was awful, and I didn't understand a thing that was going on. So of course for me to drop a class and add a new one I spent the rest of the day dealing with the god awful Blinn system. I dropped my English class to switch the time and add a different class at that time but of course the one I wanted to add was full when it said it wasn't. Luckily I know people and I got it all sorted out by around 6 p.m. that evening. Which brings us to the lesson of the day, it's not what you know but WHO you know. On the bright side I did encounter one of the many colorful characters that attend Blinn while I was in the student center. He was infatuated with the giant flat screen behind me showing one of my mothers all time favorite channels, Lifetime.
